Professional Experiences

I am an education leader with a strong track record in restorative justice, trauma-informed instruction, and equity-driven program implementation in California public schools. As a Senior Director of Special Education, I led a compliance turnaround, expanded intervention services, and implemented cost-saving measures. I have developed teacher pipelines, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and secured six-figure grants to fund equity-focused initiatives. In 2024, I launched the Urban Ed Teacher Fellowship, recruiting Black male educators and facilitating professional development on AI integration, restorative practices, and Universal Design for Learning. My partnerships span LAUSD, OUSD, SFUSD, and Stanford’s STEP program, supporting inclusive and transformative educational programs.

Personal Experiences

Outside of work, I’m a photographer and DJ, capturing Black life, nature, and culture while curating soundscapes that bridge my roots and the world around me. My creative work can be found @vwsfrmdeep, where I merge visuals, storytelling, and community. As a first-generation Haitian American, family, travel, and food are central to my life, with a special love for Tokyo and Cuba. My daily routine includes matcha over coffee, a steady intake of plantains, and home-cooked meals that keep me connected to my roots.
